I’m the "family planner" and she’s getting married in February, 2009. (She’s a single Mom and doesn’t have a lot of time, and I love to do this stuff.) Her heart is set on Mexico…and she was looking at Ixtapa/Zihua (we went last year), but airfare is outrageous to there right now. She is totally open to anywhere in Mexico and I would like to get opinions. We’ve also been to Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and she’s been to cozumel. We’ve found airfare actually cheaper to the Cancun area, and are REALLY interested in Playa del Carmen. Any other suggestions?
There’s this really quiet and nice beach at a little town called Barra de Navidad. I’ve been there and also to some of the other main beaches in Mexico and belive me this one is really pretty. You get the best of Mexican culture along with a beautiful beach.
Me and a group of my friends are going to mexico for spring break but we dont know which city is better cozumel or Cancun. but we are more into the clubs and crazy nights and what hotel do u guys recommend? ty
If you want clubs and crazy drunk fun then Cancun is the better spot for that. Cozumel is more laid back. Both places are beautiful but if you are looking to party then go to Cancun.

People always take more than they need.
Start by making a list. Think about what you will need morning, mid-day and evening. Think about what personal care items you will need. Think about beachwear and what you will put in your bag for day trips at ports of call. Get small bottles of sunscreen and sample packets of aspirin and allergy medicine.
When you have your list, try to think of ways to reduce what you are brining. When you are ready to pack, lay everything out on your bed before you put it into your bag. Try to envision a day on a cruise ship and think about what you will need or want.
Try to take things that can be used in many situations. You don’t need a new outfit each night. Nobody cares if you wear the same shirt a few different nights.
Try to find a bag or suitcase that folds down. It will take up less room once you unpack.
